Quite often people marry late in life (May be a Widow
or Widower but could be Single) for companionship. This has happend in my and my wifes Family several times. It gave my Wife two Stepfathers. Don't discount the possibility of a late marriage

I have 5 grandparents and 17 great grandparents and then another one added to the total of my g/g/grandparents.

Late marriages in my family were not that unusual, also a few of the aunts and uncles married more than once.

And a couple of very early divorces. And at least one requisite bigamist (a female one at that!!)
