missing link anyone out there can find the parents and sipplings for a james bott 1875 i know married barbara daisley in 1908 chester le street i know married ann moore in nottingham 1900 1901 census tells them livin with her parents i think, wich are elijah moore and sarah 1881 census tells he was living in stonebroom with william and emma has a vistor age 6 , i could not find him on the 1891 census anywhere but somehelpfull person as found an 1891 census with james down as son as james moore with william and emma moore this maybe an adoption , so who are his parents still carnt find why is he with the moores, why did he come north and who with from 1875 born thoringstone to 1940 durham thanks :-)

It's been suggested that you purchase his MC to give the name of his father if known. That way, you have a better chance of finding his family.

Please don't start more threads about the same man/family as it is not only against T&C, but also means that helpers go over the same ground.

People don't have to scroll through pages of chat to find your thread. If you add a reply to it or ask for more help then your post will bring the thread up to the top of the board so everyone will see it. They will also see all the other replies and information that has already been found - that way they won't repeat research that has already been done.

I know it's confusing when you first start but helpers get put off if they spend ages looking for something to then find the information has already been found and added to a previous thread.

You haven't acknowledged that you now understand.

If the above is the correct family that would make James Bott the nephew of William Moore that he was living with in 1881?
