Sorry if I'm not using the right board, but I have selected the option to 'Watch Threads' a couple of times now on interesting posts, but every time I click the "My Watched Threads" option on the left hand side navigation bar it says I don't have any.

Does anyone else have this problem or is it just me?

I am quite new to these boards so tried to flag a couple of posts I found really useful but now I can't seem to find them again.

Many thanks,
Sharon

Hi Sharon

At the top of the threads there are two buttons "add reply" and "watch this".

I've just clicked on the "watch this" button for this thread and it's coming up OK in my list.

Thank you MarieCeleste. Previously I had only clicked the tick box at the bottom of the reply box when I had posted a comment, I have to admit I hadn't seen the top buttons so will give them a try.

I also checked the My Threads link and that seems to have all of the other ones I had selected -d'oh! I will get there eventually I hope :-)

However,

the Watched Thread system was not working some months ago ..................... and I do not know whether or not it has been "repaired"

I prefer to use My Threads, which shows all threads that you have started or on which you have posted.

it isn't as selective as Watched threads, which is supposed to show only those you have picked to be watched

Nor are emails sent to tell you that threads are appearing in there. You have to physically check several times a day.

My Threads is in the same box to the left of your screen as Watched Threads

BUT MY Threads always works.
