I'd say more likely probably :-D

FYI ................... Reggie's was basically just saying that most "old timers' don't have Platinum, we all just have Standard, because we don't need Platinum

very very innocuous, and statements that have been posted many times before

all 3 posts (Reggie had 2) were probably RR'd by the same person.

Andysmum Report 24 Apr 2013 22:15

Thank you Sylvia. I didn't see Reggie's post, but I would be interested to know why mine was RR'd.

Possibly because the link I quoted was a thread that was rather critical of Genes' pricing policy???

Reggie Report 24 Apr 2013 22:05

Not really, it's too easy!

SylviaInCanada Report 24 Apr 2013 21:17

is there a prize for guessing correctly??

Reggie Report 24 Apr 2013 21:11

Someone is being very childish.............or vindictive...........I wonder who??????

SylviaInCanada Report 24 Apr 2013 19:27

there was no reason that I can see for either Reggie's or Andysmum's posts being RR'd

I saw them all ........ and they were just asking (sorry ---- answering!) a fair question with a fair answer.

Who's 'whooshing' now?????????

No, Mary. You don't lose your tree or keepsake...............that's part of the basic/standard package

You can have a tree on GR even if you don't pay ANY subscription

CupCakes Report 24 Apr 2013 06:46

I have been a Platinum member for some years and find it good value for money.
I also use the records

MarysRoots Report 23 Apr 2013 23:18

Thanks Andysmum

I'll take a look

MarysRoots Report 23 Apr 2013 22:15

Thanks Reggie ,

I might go basic then I will have to find out if I will lose any of Tree info or Keepsake if I change

MarysRoots Report 23 Apr 2013 22:05

Hello Reggie,

You don't get much info on basic do you?? I was on Ancestry and FMP as well as GR but when you get back a way they do not help a great deal so I opted out of the other 2

MarysRoots Report 23 Apr 2013 21:58

Thanks Jax

I usually pay 6 monthly which is £49.95 so if I change to 12 months it will be £80.04
Have I got this right??

jax Report 23 Apr 2013 21:27

These are the platinum prices

12 month plan £6.67 per month*
6 month plan £8.33 per month*
1 month plan £19.95 per month*
Subscribe Save £159.36 a year compared to the 1 month plan* Prices above expressed monthly.
Actual payment will be taken in one lump
sum for full value of membership.

MarysRoots Report 23 Apr 2013 21:16

Just wondering do all members pay the same subscription fee?
I have been a Platinum member since Feb 2010 but I was speaking to a lady who at the time could not remember what she paid but said she was sure it was not £49.95 for 6 months
