Hi I'm new to this. I can't find a birth record for my dad, and only a couple of records for his brothers and sisters, so can't finish my Tree, he was the eldest of 13. His Death record and marriage to my mum are on here, also there are no parish records for anyone in the family!!

The siblings are on free bmd with correct spelling.

Thank you so, so much, My grandfather Nicholas Morait was Greek Born in Pireaus and my Grandmothers name was Catherine Sephton, and it looks a though she was pregnant with my dad Peter John Morait when they married!!!!!! his birthday was 19th August 1919. There are loads of Lesleys on here. What generation am I ? I wonder.
I even found a Michael Morait in a Census, he was born in the 1700s. And a Mary-Ann Morait, Granddad said she was lost on the Titanic, but don't know if that's true, I was only 8 when he used to tell me and my sisters that story in his broad Greek accent !!!!!!!!!

We all went through our lives having Morait misspelt, and mispronounced, it ranged from Morit to Moriarty, the Daughters were so relieved to marry!!!!!!!!!
