Member Since: January 2004 Posts: 21 Send Message	I am looking for a couple of marriages and births in Shanghai China Francis Mary Lawrence born April 1874 Where could I find her Birth Certificate. She married Incencio Jorge Dos Remedios about1904 in China I have checked consular records without success. Marriage for Alexander Bath Le Poer Power and Maria Honoria unknown in Hong Kong China about 1863. Any suggestions Please

Member Since: July 2008 Posts: 18,042 Send Message	According to a tree on Ancestry Alexander's wife was Maria Honoria Scott born 1847 in Sunwick, Ireland. Stated to have died 1908 in NSW, Australia.

This would also give us proof not just heresay. We do have her death cert for NSW . Thanks for taking he time to assist. Cheers

With Cecil Dos Remedios who was born in 1915 in Shanghai, his birth cert lists his parents as Incencio J Dos remedios and Francis MAry Lawrence. Dad Incencio was also born in Maccau China but we are stumped with Frances Mary Lawrence. Have looked at some of the overseas births and marriages but no luck Cheers Ros in OZ
