British Forces Marriage's

Help!!! Does anyone know how to find a marriage between two members of the British Army based and married in Germany around 1972-1974?????

Would it be registered in Germany or registered at Army Base:
It does not appear to be registered at GRO England:

Findmypast has

British nationals married overseas 1818-2005
British nationals armed forces marriages 1796-2005

You could also request a certificate from GRO, *but* they may want the exact date before issuing it as the couple are probably still living.

Added - as they were both serving in the British Armed Forces, (B.A.O.R?) one would expect them to be on the overseas military returns

If you want to pm me the names I could check out the records Detective mentioned on fmp.

Kucinta Report 12 May 2013 16:28

pm received and have replied with marriage as indexed in:

Record source: GRO Marriages Abroad (1966 to 1994)

found by searching British nationals armed forces marriages 1796-2005 on fmp as
suggested by DetEcTive.
