MarieCeleste Report 20 May 2013 19:08

The Leicester Journal dated 31 October 1851 carried details of a number of property sales including:

Freehold property to be sold at auction at the house of Mrs Priestley, the Fox Inn, Barrow-upon-Soar on Monday 10 November at 4 o'clock. Freehold property heretofore the estate of Mr Francis Brotherton, deceased.

Lot 1 - All those 8 cottages or tenements, with the gardens adjoining, situated in the village of Barrow-upon-Soar and in the respective occupation of Elizabeth Burton, Thomas Harriman, George Burton, John Heward, HARRIETT LOCKWOOD, William Hall, John Woodford and John Thornton.
...............................................................................................................................................

Looking at the 1851 census several of those named are Harriett's neighbours so it must relate to where she lived.
