What about Lilian have you discounted her she would have been 18 when he was born where as Selina was a bit younger.

Thanks all for your comments. Im suspecting that Selina Tindall is the mother or Harold is the father although on 1911 census Harold is shown to have had only 1 child which is the one shown on census. I have sent for the certificates to be sure ;-)

I reckon Lilian is his mother as she is still single in 1911

Edit - To find out for sure you will need to purchase the birth cert, as if he was illigitamate fathers name on marriage cert could be made up if he named one at all

If you check out the "search" button at the top right of the screen and then click on "search all trees" you will find there is one person with a Cyril Tindall born Bridldington in her tree - however she has the birth year as 1909.

Im trying to find who his parents were as he is living with his widowed grandmother and an aunt on the 1911 census in Bridlington. Yorkshire. He married Lily Fern in 1932 in Bridlington and I was hoping to find who his parents were without having to send for certificates. Is he on anyones tree here please ?
