Will pm it to you...he actually married Elinor Evans

You would have done better to start a thread of your own rather than tag onto someone elses

Hi folks,

I wonder if I could be really cheeky and ask someone to send me the image of the marriage details of Edward Edwards to Elinor Jones? They married on 24 May 1844 in Machynlleth, Montgomeryshire. Their son built the Town Clock in Machynlleth.

This is the link to the record on Findmypast:-

http://www.findmypast.co.uk/search/parish-records/results?event=M&recordCount=-1&forenames=edward&includeForenamesVariants=true&_includeForenamesVariants=on&surname=edwards&_includeSurnameVariants=on&eventYear=1844&eventYearTolerance=0&birthYear=&birthYearTolerance=5&county=MGY&place=machynlleth

I have a full ancestry subscription but have been put on a short week so I can't afford the findmypast jobbie as well. I will, however, gladly do anything to help via ancestry.

Thanks in advance.

Phil.

Hi Everyone!
I recently found a record for my 2x great granddad Peter Murray.
He was born in 1865 in Liverpool to Michael and Mary Murray.
He had three younger siblings: Thomas, David and Patrick.

I have found that he served in the Army from 1884. He had joined the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers (Northern Irish), but had also served under the 4th Liverpool Kings and in the Reserve forces leading up and during the First World War.

I have been able to find his WW1 service and pension records on Ancestry, but I would like to know more about his career as a soldier. I realise that Find My Past holds army records, but at this present time I am unable to subscribe to that also.

I wondered in anyone could lookup Peter for me, if they have an unlimited subscription and email me any findings? I will be equally happy to return the favour and look on Ancestry for anything!

Many Thanks,

Steph :)
