I have used Ron and Carol for charts and some other stuff.

Excellent service and very happy with price and speed of delivery...

There is no option for an ALL IN ONE tree, 90% of our customers have this type of tree printed, everybody in the file all on one tree. The nearest thing on offer is an All Relatives Tree. Most people have not only their side of the tree but also include their partners side of the tree in their database. This All Relatives type of tree will not include any people at all from your spouses side of the tree, they are "in laws" not relatives so if you want everybody in your file all on one tree you will need 2 trees printed one for all of your relatives and one for all your partners relatives, even then it may not include everybody in your file. A relative is someone who is related to you by blood or marriage, your second cousins partner for example is a relative because they are related to you by marriage but any of their ancestors are not your relatives so will not be on the tree.

Hi Carol (and Ron)

nice to see you posting.

I've never had any printing done by you, but I have heard wonderful things over the years.

Be assured that many of us will continue to post your name, no matter what GR does.

Nice to see you posting on the boards Carol.

My Mum still talks about the tree you printed for her.

Carol

Carol Report 17 Jun 2013 22:06

Many thanks for the kind comments, apart from one tentative enquiry many moons ago from GR we were not even consulted about it.

We are still here, it's always a pleasure to serve GR subscribers.

Here was help given by Ron eight years ago, and one can see that he has been a member here since 2004.

Anyone got the "My History" advert at the top of screen and down the side ?

I keep two trees on FTM - one Scotland and the other England.

Only had one printed so far by Ron.

Was amazed at how much time Ron spent on the phone to me as I wanted a different size print and colours because my Mother is blind in one eye.

Also loved the abiliity to see the finished article on his site before going ahead with the printing. It was tiny to view onsite but really did give a good idea of what the finished article would be like.

If you go to a Family History Fair then go and introduce yourself to Ron and Carol as you will be made very welcome whether you buy or not.

Many years ago I had a conversation with Ron of www.Genealogyprinters.com and I am sure he told me they could do me a tree from an excel sheet. (This was before I had any Tree software).

They will even organise to design your tree by phone & post.

Patricia Report 15 Jun 2013 10:21

I saw that and looked to see what was on offer. Not impressed as when I selected a basic ancestor chart the price was £30, when I then clicked on 'buy' without adding any extras like background and dates of bmd it jumped to £60.......... how did that happen!!!!

If you have a half decent fh program you should be able to design your own charts and if like me you then save it to a jpeg [preferred] or a pdf file you can take it to a well known high street office supply company and they will ptint it out for you. I had 2 done on A1 photo paper [poster size] for about £45 pound. I could have gone larger/longer depending on need but that was suffienct for what I need at the time.

Ron & his wife go to many of the Family History fairs.
They are both lovely people and it is worth finding their stall as they also sell many useful leaflets.
Ron usually posts when there is a fair coming up.

I still would recommend Ron and Carol as they give you a price before you decide whether to go ahead or not.
