There seems to be a lot of greats involved here... so, going way back... however, it's still there in the DNA. So, this will be interesting in the weeks ahead... hope some relatives are found in India.

DNA testing is only of use if there is something with which to compare the results

So Prince William has some some Indian ancestry, very interesting... DNA is amazing, I think we should ALL get a DNA test done now! Perhaps they will find a few relatives of William in India, brill! Looking forward to finding out more... :-D
