Does anyone know of a way to search for relatives in Poland / Lithuania / Russia. Our relatives originated in old Poland prior to WW 1, during the war they had to move to Russia ( Leningrad ) when the Germans invaded. This is were the father was born. After the war their country was annexed and were they used to live became Lithuania.

Welcome to the boards Keith.

As a portal, try http://www.cyndislist.com/categories/#f
Also https://www.familysearch.org/

If you joined the various Anglo-Russian/Polish/Lithuanian FH societies, they may have data bases and translations guidance not open to non-members.

Hello Keith,

If the family has Jewish roots, then this is an excellent site......

I was searching similar Polish records for a friend last year and found quite a lot of helpful sites on Google. Good luck.
