thank you for that info, I have just found a very complete genealogy of the paternal line of a good friend of mine born in Jamaica some 70 years ago and I will be passing it on to them !

I should read my lost cousins newsletter more often :-)

The website Jamaican Family Search is now completely free - previously some records were chargeable. If you have family connections with the island it's an excellent place to start your research.
