Have you looked on family search or even done the free search on here?

Or if you would like to give some details we can have a look

They are available on an Ancestry Premium subscription. It has marriages up to 1910 and baptisms 1813 to 1906.

I have Ancestry world edition. The registers for St. John the Baptist, Hillingdon are not on there nor have they been transcribed by the LDS. I have been a member of GR almost since its inception. I have contacted everyone who may have an interest in the Sessions family....no-one has/or has ever had the information I require.

About 6 years ago a lady contacted me to say that she had the parish registers and she gave me some valuable information. Her second email gave details of the marriage of Elizabeth Sessions in 1851. Two computer crashes and new computers later.....I no longer have that email. and therefore do not have the name of the spouse. And that is what I am trying to find. Thanks for your replies.

It's Jeremiah Childs.

I found it on Ancestry, but by browsing the images for varous Uxbridge churches.

http://search.ancestry.co.uk/search/db.aspx?dbid=1623

London, England, Marriages and Banns, 1754-1921

On the right hand side of the page pasted above there's an option to browse the collection by borough and parish, which is what I did.

The register is a little hard to read, I confirmed the groom's identity by cross referencing with free bmd:

Marriages Jun 1851
Alderman Mark Uxbridge 3 425
Benbow Ann Uxbridge 3 425
BIRD Henry Uxbridge 3 425
Childs Jeremiah Uxbridge 3 425 <<<<<<<<<<<<<<
Dover William Uxbridge 3 425
Dowsett Hannah Uxbridge 3 425 w
Sessions Elizabeth Uxbridge 3 425 <<<<<<<
Syrett Hannah Uxbridge 3 425

Elizabeth was a minor, the daughter of Stephen, a labourer.

I have sent you the image by pm.

Kucinta. Well thank you for the register of Elizabeth and Jermiah. I have corrected the name to Sessions on both the banns and the marriage. There were 4 men on the marriage registration and I did not check them individually on Ancestry, obviously I was not in thinking mode!!!

All the other information I already have but I thank you for your time and effort on my behalf. Stephen Sessions b.1791 was my 3xgreat grandfather.

Many, many thanks once again.
