OldYorkshireBloke Report 19 Aug 2014 11:02

Thomas Brierley c1852 born Newington Southark London marries Frances Thompson 13 February 1871 Manchester Cathedral. Frances is on the 1871 census age 16 married living in Middleton. In the occupation column she is recorded as brushmakers wife. There is additional information in this column which refers to husband which I cannot decipher. Neither can I find Thomas on the 1871 census although he appears on subsequent census with Frances.
Any help deciphering the writing and finding Thomas on this census would be very much appreciated.
