Hello,

Trying to search for hague family.

My grandad Herbert hague born in 1899 in Yorkshire. He married Elizabeth Dootson born 1910.

Trying to find records of Herbert's birth. I have his marriage etc.

Found information in the last that proved to be wrong which is why I am asking for help.

He can't have been born in 1899 and married in 1910 because he only be 11, :-)

Who does he name as his father on his MC?

He married in 1935.

He is my grandfather so my dads dad.

My dad said that he was told by his dad that's was born in Yorkshire but can't find the record.

Don't have a Copy of the marriage certificate just the marriage records. How do I get a copy of marriage certificate? Not researched all this for a long time. (Sorry) learning how to do all this.

He died in Ashton under Lyne.

In was I'm the late 1970s early 80s I think. I will double check. My dad registered his death.

He died in 1977. Apparently he said he was born in Yorkshire but this may have not been accurate as he was brought up in gorton Manchester.
