I have Elizabeth Howell born 1886 Grimsby Lincolnshire that I have nothing about. She is the daughter of Benjamin Howell and Fanny Baker . 1891 1901 I have her in census in Grimsby living at home but I have not been able to trace her after that . Was wondering what was the best way to trace her as the name is popular.

Caistor RD covers Grimsby or Great Grimsby as it is also known. No 1886 birth coming up.

Jun 1885 (>99%)
Howell Elizabeth Caistor 7a 651

EDIT - also covers Clee where the family are living and Cleethorpes where Elizabeth is said to have been born (1901 census)

On census if a person is 15, that is taken away from the census year and will show as born 1886 i.e. 1901 -16 = 1886. However, they are just as likely to be born in the previous year.
