Good afternoon,

I have Elsie Amanda Springett born 1908 Gillingham, to Edith Gertrude Maud Bryant and Albert Springett. In 1929 in Kent Elsie marries Alfred John Bing. In 1931 and 1935 Elsie gives birth to two daughters, I have their names but will not publish in case they are still living. Alfred John Bing dies in Thanet, Kent in 1991. Alfred was born in 1904. I cannot find a death for Elsie. Can anyone help please? I have nosed on the 1939 Register and although I have not purchased the same Elsie is showing with Alfred and two others (unnamed) so she's obviously still alive then.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I have had a nose at that one and haven't found anything as yet.

this is the only death I can find in kent could this be elsie but name Elizabeth born same year and in june quarter do you know if your elsie was born 26th june

Hi, I don't have an exact date of birth for her but according to Free BMD it's June 1908. Not sure if that's the quarter the birth was registered in.

That will be the qtr the birth was registered in

The1939 register should give her actual birth date

They both married in the 1950's Thanet

Thanks Shirley, yes I have, and found the marriages. Just trying still to find Elsie's death. Have also looked as Malyon said for another marriage for Elsie but so far nothing. There are a couple of Elsie M's and I've looked at the actual typed record to see if it is definitely an M and not an A but it's an M. Hope I;m making sense.

We see she's still alive in 2006. I have checked the death records up to 2007 and then from 2007 to 2015 (on Ancestry) still nothing. If Elsie is still alive then she'd be 109. Anything is possible. Yes please Shirley if you would.

As Elsie was still at the same address as the 1939 register to 2006 then she would be 98 years old . Her death won't be online but possibly 2006 /7
