Greeting’s Again Jon O’ Kent……. I doubt if you’ll be able to access the Medical Records…… But I’ll ask at Wigston this week for you……… I know that that Hospital was run by The Sheffield Hospital Management Committee No.4 Back in the 60’s I worked there on a relieve rota Yes…… There were several Asylum’s within the area The Female one was on the Newarke on the opposite side to what is now “ Trinity Hospital “ There was another below the bridge before the “ Bow String” Railway Bridge which became a sports Hall Opposite the “ Kirby & West Building “ And the Male one was in deed on Asylum street on the corner of the Newarke / The Old Richmond House Building’s. Which became part of the Polly Art & Tech and now is part of De-Montford Uni. On your 1841 Disks = Disk No. 4. 605. Click on folder 605. Then sub folder 12. Pages 24 ~ end (28) 1851. = HO 107 /2090./ 604. / Page 1. Keyword = Prosser Although it’s for Henry Roper ( Superintendent ) The other one I know of was were the Old Queen Eizabeth II.
