Hi Teresa Could you look up Turnbulls? I think they should be in Dublin/Dun Laoghaire in the 1840s, so it's possible they're still there - father William Turnbull and son Frederick Turnbull. Many thanks Ivy

Rosalyn

This is only a list of 'Heads of Household' for those residing in Dublin City in 1851.

Unfortunately, it gives no other info apart from the address. Which is a shame...cos it doesn't tell you where they were born ages etc. But no info is better than none at all.

Contact me again if you want to find out if any of your family names are here. Mine lived in Co. Dublin but later on moved into the City. No wonder they are so darned hard to locate at the Irish GRO.

Hi Julie

No 'Larkins' at all listed.

There were 56 for the name 'Larkin' but no sight of Matthew!

Loads of James's, John's, Patrick's and Thomas Larkin's though.

Sorry I couldn't help. Come back to me if you find another Larkin name and I'll check that out for you....Teresa

Rosalyn

There are 22 Head of Households for the name 'Fisher' listed living in Dublin City in 1851. No Robert though as he would only have been a small child then.

I'm presuming that you have no idea what his father's name is?

Did Robert have any sons?........As the first born son would USUALLY have been named after the father's father.

I will contact you with the full list to-morrow...you never know it might be of some use to you.

Hi I'm looking for the Cuzick family, don't know where in Ireland but if you could check Dublin for me I would be grateful. It is probably James Cuzick that would be head of the family. It's an unusual spelling so it should be easier. Pam
