Mersey explosion of 1946

ProfilePosted byOptionsPost Date

Pain Report 25 May 2006 22:47

The unexploded mine on the mersey reminded me of a relative that died there in 1946 in similiar circumstances. He was on a ship with other people when it hit an unexploded mine. I didnt know about him until a couple of years ago but from this I found a whole new set of close relatives. If anyone reading this had a relative on that ship/boat please let me know as I have a newspaper report from then that you might be interested in.
