Hi Cheryl Yes thankyou for your offer. I have asked on GR before, but it is driving me mad that I can't find them. I am looking for Matthew W. Metcalf(e )b.1870 Gateshead, on the 1901 census. His brother James A Metcalf(e) born Northumberland 1876, is also missing. Matthew was married in 1890 to Sarah Jane b. Oakenshaw Durham. They were all living in Edmonsley Durham in 1891. I have tried everything I can think of, the two brothers ended up in Newcastle eventually. Maybe you can find them where others can't. Thanks Louise

Hello Cheryl You may be the godsend I am looking for! I am trying to find the Eyre family but have no luck with the census returns. They are: all from Manchester (Gorton/West Gorton/Ardwick) Harold b c1898/1900 Barbara b Longmire abt 1907 (so she won'e be there) but you may find her family. and any other Eyre's in the Manchester/north Cheshire area - there were 5 brothers apparently but family lost contact on death of Harold in 1947.

Hi, I have tried, but can't find this person on the 1841 census. Margaret Cooton, born about 1820 in Tarleton, Lancashire.Later that year she married in Tarbock, Lancashire. As there is no father on her marriage certificate I believe her to be illigitimate. I would be very grateful if you would take a look. Fran
