I am having the weirdest day, pottering round going through the cenus for every year, going backwards, when suddenly on searching ancestry one world trees I find I'm getting much more accurate information than usual, which seems to match my info perfectly. It seems I've finally found someone researching the same name/line as me back to abt 1600. I can't believe it! I am literally dancing in myseat.... but their tree hasn't been updated since the end of 2004 and when I emailed with the shaded address thats supplied on ancestry, i got one back saying it couldnt be sent! Arrrghh! Have also emailed via ancestry's contact bit so hoping maybe they have updated their address somewhere. They've done loads of groundwork obviously with lots of baptisms and marraige dates, its absolutely fascinating!! Fingers crossed they will get back to me :) |
