Dear Madeline, A bit of a long shot, as they were all East End boys (Bethnal Green, Stepney, West Ham) McCarthy brothers; Cornelius (born c.1885) Alfred (1893) David (1894) John (perhaps 1897) William (1898) Alphonse (1899) Maurice (1901) Just out of interest, I hope I am not repeating questions; firstly is your list only enlisted MEN (ie no nurses etc) & secondly, is it just an army roll? Thanks for taking the time, LIZ
