Hi Jess, first of all, thank you for the offer. Could you please look on the 1881 and 1891 census for Albert Edward Youlden, i have his marriage cert of 1892 that states his age as 20yrs and his father as John Carter Youlden, in Aston Manor, Birmingham. On the 1901 census his age is 30yrs and he was born in Plymouth Devon so his birth was abt 1871/2. Regards Bren

Hello my little fellow insomniac (well, Im off to bed now actually). If you have a spare mo, can you check out a Rosina Harris born c1854 in Whitstable, Kent in the 1871/61 please? I can find her getting married 1874 in Stepney to a David Morely Foster and find the whole lot of them and the kids births in the 1881 in Limehouse but I have not seen one that fits completely for Rosina Harris prior to the 1881. God bless, good night and dont strain your eyes. My legs are aching like mad sitting here!

Hi Jess, Thanks for your kind offer I have this family (my English Nan's)in 1881 and 1871, so now want to try 1861 Census. Head James SMITHERS had married wife Frances in 1857 (I do not have her maiden name) children I know about are Eliza born c 1856/7 Stephen born c 1858 next known child Henry (b 1862) etc etc BUT my nan was the youngest of this brood of 11, and I only have 10 names (my mum's notes include a Sally of whom I have no trace yet). My freebmd searches show not all children born Chobham, some fit Hambledon, so they may not live in Chobham in 1861. I hope you can find them!! I am so grateful for your time Heather (in antipodes)

Jess, wonder if you would be kind enough to look for this family in 1861 for me? I have them on 71, at: 9 Milton Polygon, Cheetham Hill, Manchester, and on 1891 at Park Avenue Southport, North Meols, Lancs - cant define them in 1881. (Ages to suit 1861 census) James Holden 43 Cotton Spinner/manuf, or similar, born Royton Lancs Elizabeth 38 wife born Royton Lancs John James Holden 17, single, born Royton Louisa (age never given!) b Kirkham, Lancs. Hopefully, another son, George Henry Holden aged 19, is also living with them. A contact from this site thinks they lived in Kirkham in 1861, but if they are not at Polygon, please don't go to any trouble, you will drown in James Holdens! Thanks in advance Olde Crone
