Robyne Report 4 Sep 2005 14:42

There is definately no Charity in any of the areas, so she was either out of the county and in one not listed yet or perhaps they werent married by then? Sarah and John were living in Higher Stree, Brixham aged 60 and 65 respectively. John was a labourer

Angela

Angela Report 4 Sep 2005 09:31

Robyn I'm really sorry I gave you the wrong surname initially for John and Sarah, their name on the census would be Sharp I gave you Sarah's maiden name, sorry again. Angela

Angela

Angela Report 4 Sep 2005 08:57

Thank you for looking. They are all on 1851 census as couples. John (1784) and Charity (1788) Perrett/Perrott were living at Overgang, Brixham. John Sharp is 1770 and his wife Sarah, according to 1851 census was about 1787 though most people have her down as 1780, I'm not sure if one or both of those dates are mistakes? She does seem to have been a lot younger than him though. Hope this is some help. Angela

Robyne Report 3 Sep 2005 22:03

Hi Angela There is a john perrett in brixham but definately no charity in devon at all. There is also a John Carlisle in the Eye infirmary in Devon but no sarahs in the Brixham area. Do you have any clues on their age?
