Evening Jess. Still after the May family I'm afraid. There are so many of them. Would you look me up on the 1861 and 1871 Census. William May born 1807 Stoke Damerell Devon, a Stonemason. He would be 54 on the 1861 and 64 on the 1871. His wife was Ann born around the same time. They should still be in Plymouth area. Any details would be appreciated as always. Thanks. Jan

Jess the names of the children look Ok. Mary A Moran and Thomas Moran did have an older brother called Michael who later married Rose Ann Rowley. My late father believed the Morans original came to leeds from Ireland. But it could have been the generation befor Mathew Moran was born. Thank you for the new lead, regards, Christopher

Christopher Report 27 Jun 2005 11:34

Jess would you please have a look through 1861 to 1891 to try find some history regarding Honor Coleman and her family? In the 1901 Census she was living at 8 lower Cross Street, Leeds. Honor was listed, as been 70 years old. On the 1901 Census she had two grandchildren living with her. Mary A Moran aged 20 and Thomas aged 18 years old. Their parents were Mathew Moran and Mary Coleman who married in 1877 but I do not have any history from when they married to why they are not with there children in 1901. Any information on Mathew and Mary would also be appreciated. Thanking you for any help you may offer. Kind regards, Christopher

Hi Jess Me again!! You found a William Humphrey born 1877c for me the other day on the 1881 census. living with his father George born 1855c his mother Susan (nee Bush) born 1856c his brother Albert born 1875c and his sister Emily born 1879c. I was wondering if you could check a few things for me and if they confirm something that i am pretty certain they will i would have found a connection with this side of my family which will be so good i will finally be able to learn more about that side. I need to know parents and siblings if you can of both George and Susan. Also if you can do an 1891 lookup on them all to see if William had another four siblings by then that would be great. I have my fingers crossed hoping you find something promising. It was all in the Ridgewell Essex area Thankyou so much for looking xx Hi Jess just seen you can also check deaths i dont know if you can but from a death lookup can you find out any info on their relatives?? Husbands name etc or would i have to get the cerificate for that not sure sorry!!!! Just in case i will give you the details tits an Eliza (possibly full name was Elizabeth) Hazelden died aged 40 on 18th March 1896 in Kent i believe Sevenoaks!! My Great aunt recently found a card from the flowers from her funeral in her grandmothers photo album. We are researching the Hazeldens but havent come across an Eliza yet so wondering whether she married one of the children or something!! If you cant help with this dont worry at all you are such a great help with everything anyway!!! xx
