Thank you for your kind offer. I'm looking for the family of 2 people please; Jane Watkinson born 1845 in Burscough in Lancashire. In 1861 she would have been 15/16 yrs old. John Hilton born 1845 in Tarleton, Lancashire. He too would have been 15/16 in 1861. Jane and John were my gt.gt. grandparents. I think they were married in 1867. Any chance of checking, still same area. Also their deaths which I don't know. A bit of a big one Jess. Don't worry if its too much, I understand. Thank you in advance

Hi Jess sorry took so long to answer your question re: martha seers marriage .your reply yesterday at 19.27pm Martha was a Cook in 1861 at Lake end house Boveney. In 1871 census they were at cottage no.2 Dorney common Dorney bucks. Hope this helps in searching for marriage thanxs lesley :~)

Hi Jess I have got his birth as 6 may 1864 Dorney bucks and christening as 5 june 1864 Eton bucks, so im thinking they come under same district? I dunno geography was never my strong point lol hope this helps a bit thanxs lesley :~)

Jess, thanks so much for the info on Jane Watkinson and John Hilton. It's been a real help. Jane was born in Burscough, Nr. Ormskirk in Lancashire in 1845. I wonder if she, along with her family, is listed on the 1861 census please. Thank you very much.
