Brilliant news--I don't know how he's been so patient. If he's anything like me when I met my brother last year for the first time he'll need some Rescue Remedy with him !! or something stronger !! Longing to hear the outcome. All the best to him.

Sammy what can I say that already has'nt been said! A very sad experience for all involved, especially BIL. Hope everything turns out as he wishes it to be. Im sure there will be a light at the end of the tunnel, even if this process means turning the experience into a positive, interms of the inner strength he obviously has and displays! Very best wishes to you all Lib

Hi everyone :) My BIL scared to death bless him, but he's still going. I admire him so much for doing this, it's almost a 4hr drive from here, and the 4hr drive back will be even worse if she wont speak to him, but it's got to be done. I really hope the journey is worth it, I mean I hope she's home... I hope she answers the door... I pray she doesn't slam it in his face... We'll have to wait & see I'll let you know anything as soon as I I find out Sam

Hi Sammy, I haven't added to this thread before but have watched it with interest. Hope everything goes well for him tomorrow, and tell him not to take no for an answer if someone else answers the door. He can always say he will wait patiently outside for as long as it takes (even if he can't really do this). Perhaps they will see how serious he is about a meeting. My best wishes go with him for a happy outcome. Kath. x

Hi Sam Well I took your advice + am not going on holiday! LOL We decided it was going to be too busy due to school hols + also the weather is so miserable, so are just going out for days. I just wanted to wish BIL all the best for tomorrow...THINK POSITIVE, be confident and GO for it. His Mother must have thought in the back of her mind that he would want to see her sometime.(I know I would have) Who knows it may *lay the ghosts to rest* for her. Anyway, I wont ramble on.......Take care. Love Ann x
