Hi Jess Thanks for the offer. If you get the time could you have a look at the 1891 census for me please? I'm looking for Elizabeth Davies aged 20 years, born c1871 in Carmathon Wales. Her father was called William, Mother unknown. The family are likely to be living in Bargoed, Glamorganshire, Wales. I have her marriage gertificate from 1893 which has a Kate Davies as a witness but I don't know if she was related or not. Thanks Lunar

Bob , having a 'feel' around- Alice Doe 25 Whitechapel, London, England Servant Bethnal Green London that would make her 35 when she witnessed the marriage - (if its the same one,) so 15 years older than the bride, so guess not sister. cant find Harriet (in bethnal green) at the moment but looking... ~Jess~ Guess you already have the marriage , although confirms the name Doe, Charles Alfred 1888 March Marriages Bethnal Green Greater London London Middlesex HURT, Harriet 1888 March Marriages Bethnal Green Greater London London Middlesex Kennedy, Patrick 1888 March Marriages Bethnal Green Greater London London Middlesex REYNOLDS, Caroline 1888 March Marriages Bethnal Green Greater London 1c 386 .................................. looks like the alfred was the son of these, does mothers name mean anything (Gibbons..)- soory that is scribble since i found what i think is her brother! Charles Alfred Doe 10 St Luke, London, England Son St Luke London Elizabeth Doe 15 St Luke, London, England Daughter St Luke London Emily Doe 8 St Luke, London, England Daughter St Luke London Frederick Doe 39 Whitechapel, London, England Head St Luke London Frederick Doe 18 St Luke, London, England Son St Luke London Susannah Doe 36 St Luke, London, England Wife St Luke London Susannah Doe 20 St Luke, London, England Daughter St Luke London Elizabeth Gibbons 60 St Luke, London, England Head St Luke London 1891: Harriet is back with mother...with 1 year old son charles...(?) lunar: criteria: Elizabeth Davies/born carmarthenshire/ res Glamorganshire = Davies, Elizabeth 20 Llanybyther, Carmarthenshire Wife Llanguick Glamorgan Davies, Elizabeth 21 Carmarthenshire Servant St Mary Glamorgan Davies, Elizabeth 19 Laugharne, Carmarthenshire Servant Swansea Glamorgan Davies, Elizabeth A 20 Llanedy, Carmarthenshire Daughter Llandilo Talybont Glamorgan Davies, Elizabeth Ann 21 Llandubre, Carmarthenshire Servant Merthyr Tydfil Glamorgan Davies, Elizth 20 Abergelly, Carmarthenshire Servant Swansea Glamorgan All that are servants will not be with father; the one that is daughter has wrong dad and if she was a wife - she probably wouldn't be Davies. Sorry not a lot of good to you. (if you narrow criteria to Carmarthen and Bargoed you get no returns at all) ~Jess ~
