Oh GREAT!! Those 'Stanifords' just have to be mine!! Accidentally burnt to death?? And another strangulation/hanging to add to the collection, thats 4 in this line now....... Hiya Mike, could you please search for a Thomas Holmes b.1811 and his wife Elizabeth b. 1810 Both Born In Ibstock, (or so it says on 1871 census) were living in Ashby de la Zouch at the time of census, If its not too much trouble, You have already looked for John Holmes/Fanny Robinson for me but I still cant find them, Could you please give me some pointers as where to look next for them??? Am trying this Thomas to see if its possible that it's his father, Would be ever so grateful if you could help/advise hopefully Julie :)

Hiya Mike, Many thanks for looking for Thomas Holmes, I'm really unsure now as to whether this is my g g grandfathers family or not, (I'm sorry to be a pain,) Just Havent got a clue where to look next, is really silly to have a brick wall this early on. Hello Mike, I wonder if you can help me again with the 1851 or 1861 census. i am looking for Anne faichen born 1808 in Appleby Magna and daughter also called Ann Faichen born 1850 in Southampton. I am hoping she may be with her parents William and Mary Smith in Appleby Magna for one or both of these dates. thanking you for any help you can give, alice
