Hiya Mike, could you please search for a Thomas Holmes b.1811 and his wife Elizabeth b. 1810 Both Born In Ibstock, (or so it says on 1871 census) were living in Ashby de la Zouch at the time of census, If its not too much trouble, You have already looked for John Holmes/Fanny Robinson for me but I still cant find them, Could you please give me some pointers as where to look next for them??? Am trying this Thomas to see if its possible that it's his father, Would be ever so grateful if you could help/advise hopefully Julie :)
