A possible reason why an ancestor's grave can't be located. After the passing of the Anatomy Act in 1832 which stated that the bodies of Paupers were to be given over for Medical Research (to stop grave robbers like Burke & Hare) over 60,000 Paupers bodies were dissected over the next few decades. Try Googling Anatomy Act.
