Hi Mike again. Edward Heawood 1834 born Braunstone married Mary Tyers had Daughters Mary & Catherine in Braunstone and then sons William and Joseph while living Oldbury Worc. Can trace them to 1871 still in Oldbury without wife (death). Can't find Edward in 1881 census. Think they may have gone back to Leicester as both sons married Leicester girls. Joseph stayed in Leicester but William (grandfather) was in Birmingham and then Smethwick. Would like to bridge this gap. Any clues. Thanks Margaret

Greeting's Again Robert...... Has I understand your last post...... You are seeking an other family group of Cooke's on the 1841. Census, other than the one Beverly found on her post :- 25/03/05. 19:52 hrs .. Seeing that it could be in the Derbyshire Area. May I suggest you put a enquiry on the 'Trying to Find Board' Give details and what you have ( but try and keep it brief) and see if some one who deals with Derbyshire can help you. (To do this you need at lest one person of the people you seek on your tree) MIKE. (I'm not trying to fob you off)

Thanks again Mike. The Heawood marriages were interesting may be able to match someone eventually. Its all good fun though. Everyone keeps talking about discs? What are these and how do I get one? Mind you it is easier to ask someone else to do a look up especially when it is so successful.

Thanks Mike Need to ask one more t try and solve a problem. You gave me William Hurst's christening for 1810, I am looking for a possible brother for him called Thomas with what should be Charles and Lucy as parents. However Lucy Ann, William's sister was born abt 1831, do you think she will be on the parish disc as I would like to check her parents names. You're an absolute star Elaine

Hi Mike, Big ask again for those Parish discs. Just found out my Ann who married William Hurst, was Ann Eld. Now I know she had a brother Thomas but as it is an unusual surname to me do you think you could have a look for me please. Now I am really in the dark as to whether they are Leicester people so can't tell you much except that William Hurst is the look up you did the other day when you found his christening in 1810 in Wigston and the birth cert I have for one of their children is 1839 and although she is Ann Hurst formerly Eld on the cert, her son is named Charles Eld so this bit I don't understand as to whether they were married at that point. Really appreciate this AGAIN. Thank you so much Elaine

Hi Mike its me again. On 1841 census you showed a Mary Heawood age 71 who could be previous generation. On one of my trawls somewhere I came across a marriage in Braunstone 1791 of William Heawood and Mary Chapman of Ratby. Do you think this could be same Mary. Margaret

Greeting's Again Robert..... There you go then ....... Just a point of slight confusion ..... Bleamor ? ? is this a typing error of the translator ? and it should have been Eleanor Thomas's Wife. and also explains Aaron with grandparents in 1851. I see that on the 1871. Census Thomas has changed his occupation to Omnibus Proprietor and moved to 64, Granby Street.... MIKE. Good here ain't it ....lol :0) ~D] Tea Time now ~D]

Thanks Mike Wigston would be right but just can't seem to pull them all together. Later in 1871 a Hannah Griffin nee Hurst is in Hinckley with an Alfred Hurst, Alfred's mother is Jemima Stretton (Bev should remember that one) which brings me back to the surname of Hurst you deciphered ages ago -see I don't forget and it's a long round about way to give you a potted history and say thank you. Hannah's parents are William and Mary and my descendants are William and Ann and Thomas ??? who knows LOL Elaine
