1871 census - try British Origins

If you can't find somebody on the 1871 census on ancestry, try British Origins. Check whether they have the county that you want before you subscribe though! Also, you can do a free search on name to see if there is anybody with that name on their 1871 census before subscribing. I was looking and looking for my g-g-g-g-uncle on ancestry and getting nowhere, typed in his name to British Origins as soon as I found out they had added London Surrey, and there he was! I still don't know why he can't be found on ancestry.
