sarahjw03 Report 25 Oct 2004 23:31

There are lots of them , they tended to live randomly with the other side of my family "the Staniforths", they liked to go missing (regularly), occasionally had an illegitimate child or two, and passed it off as an aunt or uncle, lived in large groups, oh, and I recently discovered that if one of their children died, the next born was named after the deceased...... Need I go on?! Good luck if you get em! Sarah

Oh Beverly, if you are related to my lot, then you are welcome to claim them all. I am disowning them, considering changing my name in order to change my tree! If you are connected to them, please don't ask Mike for lookups, it will surely send him over the edge...! ;-)) Sarah

sarahjw03 Report 25 Oct 2004 18:45

Hi Mike! Big favour?? (again!) Please could you look up the name Langham on your 1861? I am trying to trace the father of Emma, b.1858/9 in Hinckley, husband of Eliza(beth?), b.1832/3 in Hinckley. He is not on the 1881, and am stuck! Have traced a marriage, and think he may be named George, but want to check if I am right or wrong. I believe they would be in Hinckley, none of my lot moved far! Thanks a lot, Sarah
