Helpful hint for those searching in MYDDLE. There is a book, The history of Myddle by Richard Googh. This was written by him in 1700 + or _. In Shrewsbury archive they have a copy with a name index. I have bought a copy on e-bay but unfortunatly it does not have the name index. The book is full of amusing incidents. Having been to the archives these are now the names I would like to connect to: WILKES WEEKS NOCK NODEN PARRY WYNN/ WINN All from Myddle/Middle or close by. Would recommend Shrewesbury archives. Very easy to get to from Railway or Bus Stations.Very easy to access the info there.
