Monday 10th May I posted a request for a marriage cert from Manchester Register Office, 1 st class plus a 1st class SAE....received cert Wed 12th. Well done !!!! Tuesday 11th May I personally took a request to Derby Register Office for a marriage and a birth cert, as I only had the year and no venue for the marriage they said that they would do a search also the birth may not be in their registration area, they asked for two cheques for £7.....Wednesday 12th I received the marriage cert with a 2nd class stamp !! Today I recived the birth cert which Derby had forwarded to Ilkeston and they posted it out with a 2nd class stamp. CONGRATULATIONS to all three Registration Offices and the Royal Mail, like many I have waited weeks for certs from Southport Anne |
