Someone suggested the London Ancestors site on the good websites thread. He's not mine, but there is a newspaper report of an Inquest at Rochdale into the death of Richard Pilling who died of starvation in Wardleworth workhouse - for which Richard Hargraves, Elizabeth Burrows and Hannah Holt were committed to Lancaster for manslaughter. Who'd have thought a Rochdale death would be found on a London website. It just goes to show you should leave no stone unturned. Sue |
