Hi Marie; I got the BVRI second edition from www(.)familysearch(.)org remove the brackets. I ordered from the U.S. site. It cost about 20 dollars us. There are over 12.5 million births and marriages(mostly births) from 1500's to 1906. The index is not complet. I have had the discs for about 18 months and until last week had never found anything of my own on it. Helped quite a few others though. Teresa

Teresa: If you still have the time, would you be kind enough to look up a marriage for Susanna Vaus, please? Susanna married James Mumford on 17-Mar-1857. Max, on this site, found a record of a James Mumford marrying in St. George Hanover Square (would that be London?), first quarter 1857. The equipment was down and she could not look up a record for Susanna Vaus. James and Susanna may have married in either England or Canada, so if you need an exact location, please ignore this message. Thank you in advance.

Hi Wilf; There are a couple of marriages in Liverpool around that timeframe but not for William and Catherine. There is George Range married Mary Moss 1785, Edmund Range m Alice Southart 1785, John Range m Ellen Pendleton 1784. 1791 Catherine Range m. John Lord. Are any of these of interest? I do have James Birth 1732, do you have it? It also looks like there may be a sister Martha although only mother name Catherine on record. I also see a William Henry Rang born to William Henry Range and Catherine in Liverpool 1899. I any of these are of interest let me know and I will post the details

Teresa: Wow, you're fast! I have a feeling they were already in Canada in 1857 -- but it was worth a try. Thanks so much for your speedy lookup and reply. All the best with your research!
