To relieive the presure I also have the same 1851 census for the same counties send me an e/mail with details of a look up.I will do my best but only on the net 8am to 6pm weekdays. Bert

A question for everyone on this thread. As Meryl stated, there were no John Herrick's in or around Birmingham in 1851. I know there must have been by 1857 because John's son was born there. The one and only John Herrick in Birmingham that I can find is in 1881, and he was born in Essex (in 1823). Exactly how much of a leap is it to suggest that this is my John? The circumstantial evidence fits.

Meryl if you have any time oe energy after dancing ......looking for people in Norfolk. 1. family of Edwin WEBSTER, who would have been 30 ish at census date, probably Mattishall or Norwich, or somewhere in between. 2. Any trace of a Henry WEBSTER aged 2 ish or an Albert WEBSTER aged 4 ish (brothers) in the same area? Thanks a million Janet

Baker Family Aston Warwickshire Birmingham. Some of the names are Harry Baker,Charles Baker, Alice Baker, Ellen Elizabeth baker. Any info on them would be great. Ta !!

Andy- I found Thomas Spears, he was a lodger staying at Dartmouth St Aston, he was a Brass Founder as you send. Couldnt find Elizabeth Barnes! Meryl

Innkeepers Widow Ann Ellis 16 Gen Serv James- There are 2, 1 wa born in 1845 in Wymondham NOrfolk the other 1846 in Swaffham Norfolk.

David He was living at Holemore Farm, Honiton. The census place was Upottery, Honiton,Devonshire. Meryl

Very kind offer, Meryl. I am interested in Robert Wilson Little and his wife, Elizabeth, nee West. One of their children was born at Lower Sheringham, Norfolk in 1853. I would be delighted with any census details. They might not have married until after the 1851 Census. Many thanks. Andrew Smith
