Hello Meryl I would be grateful if you could look for the surname Bradford in 1851 Warwicks census. They were blacksmiths and seem to originate from Newton Regis, later in Warton and Atherstone. Thanks Nina Terry

Dear Meryl - that's very kind of you. Can I trouble you for a look up in the Devon census for anybody with the surname Ezechiel ?(this spelling) There won't be many (if any!). My big hope is for James Ezechiel, my great grandad but any Ezechiels would be exciting! Best wishes Peter

I am trying to trace my Grandfathers birth details. The 1901 census gives his birth place as Morton Morell and he was 38 at that census. His name was Richard Collins, regards Gerry Collins

Meryl

Meryl Report 30 Aug 2003 16:36

Hi Gerry I'm afraid your Grandad wont be on the 1851 census as he wouldn't have been born until 1863 if he was 38 in 1901, have you tried the 1881 census? web address on the Links on left hand panel. Sorry I couldnt help, Good Luck Meryl

Hi Meryl Please could you look for William SPEAR age 36 born Crediton, his wife Sarah age 29 born Morchard Bishop. They should be living in Copplestone/Colebrook, Devon with (I hope) their children including Emma and Mary Jane. Thank you very much Sue at Langley Vale
