I am trying to trace back my g g grandfather Isaac How, born in Banham Norfolk. According to his marriage certificate he was 30 in October 1846. I have found him in the 1851 Cambridgeshire Census, living with his family in Chatteris, but he was not there in 1841. I found his future wife, Sarah Oldfield, living in Manea, which is where they were subsequently married. Isaac's father was Charles How, I don't know when or where he was born. Nor do I know his mother's name. Any information would be very much appreciated, as I had hit a dead end at the moment. Jan. |
