Hello All, Does anyone have the same problem as me? A relative of mine was adopted - i have plenty of history on her adoptive parents and only know her birth mothers name. Until I have any more success with my research regarding her birth parents I would like to indicate simply on my tree that this relative was adopted(may be, by a colour defined box - like we have for male & female and for ourselves within the tree). What do you think? Also , looking for advice on where to research for these adoption records (circa 1929/1930). I know my relative birth name, date, place and her mothers maiden and married name (I know nothing about the father at all). Thanks for reading. Cheers, Shell |
