Several people have asked about finding Sevice details. My grandfather was in the Boer War so does not appear on the 1901 census. My mother wrote to the Ministry of Defence at Bourne Avenue, Hayes, Middlesex, UB3 1RF and they provided her with his full service history. That was in 1984 so the address may be different. Don't all rush at once. Pat
