Andrea, try Edwin Lemon instead, someone told me the census was transcribed by prisoners with poor literacy skills, my surname is misspelt every week at work, and I am finding spelling changes over the last 200 years! Samantha, go back to yesterdays board for my tip on searching the 1901 census free, and Robert Wood's message( were you in my class in Worthing Robert? I found 182 Meachem's free in under a minute.
