gedcom is a standard file format used by many family tree programs. If you have entered all your data into one of these computer programmes than you can export this information via a Gedcom file and import the information into a new/different family tree programme. It saves you typing everything in again which is useful if you have hundreds of names in your tree! It does not look as if this site supports gedcom yet.
