Would I be right in thinking that the name Matthias is another version for Matthew?? Have come across some wonderful weird names. Another example is a middle name of Patterson (this is for a female). Any advice appreciated. Also the Latter Day Saints site has given me invaluable info into my ancestors and their occupations as well as good trails I am already back to the 1700's. I echo previous comments re this site and encourage you to check this site out as it is free. Good Luck!
