Elaine
I found my grandfathers grave in london road I never hhad the pleasure of meeting him but it was emotional to say the least.
The cemetary is massive it would have been impossible for me to find the grave without the help of te staff there. I have a map of the cemetery now with plot ref on it I have managed to locate quite a few graves, but if you have never been i would reccomend arranging to meet a member of the staff so they can show you were the grave is.Sharon x

Just to say, have the burial at London Road Cemetery for Charlotte Ward (last message).
Was told it was a closed cemetery and we would have to make an appt for someone to take us to the grave.
Does anyone have relatives there? Was curious how it had affected people with relatives there having read various bits on the net

Hi all

Have a death cert for my Charlotte now and would like a bit of help please. Charlotte Ward died 11 Mar 1929, 93 Godiva Street, Coventry. Could anyone help with where she might be buried as I don't know the area. Arthur Bird son in law registered the death and from that I would say her daughter Florence married twice

Marriages Mar 1913
Ward Florence E Poole Coventry 6d/1090
Poole Sidney S Ward Coventry 6d/1090

Marriages Jun 1917
Bird Arthur Poole Coventry 6d/1181
Poole Florence E Bird Coventry 6d/1181

Sadly found this too

Deaths Mar 1926
Bird Florence E 35 Coventry 6d/742

The Wards are originally from Leicester
Many thanks
Elaine

PS have since rang Coventry offices and hopefully they are ringing back tomorrow with a possible burial

hi Zena

my previous link went off side of page so i deleted it.

Did another search on warwickshire county council calender of prisoners and found a victim of attempted murder with the same reference numbers as Thomas it appeared he attempted to murder Martha Adkins

i think but i'm not sure but you should be able to get copies of records from warwickshire records office.

Do you by any chance have anything about the parents of Samuel White, born about 1816. He married Maria Blewett 25 December 1842 at St Michael's.

Have a fair bit of information about Maria's ancestors but nothing about Samuel's beyond the possibility his parents may have been Edward White and Susanna.

Another one is Ann Pegg, who married William Molesworth 12 December 1798, also at St Michael's

Many thanks

David
