Phoned the Family History Society this morning

They had heard that a CD was about to come out
BUT…they do NOT have any of these CD's at the research Centre
For sale …YET …
But I’m No. 1. on the list to get one ……..

Await but not holding my breath for now …..lol.

OK will give it a whirl then on both events .
Although I see that the Marriage details was submitted by a Member so proceed with caution me thinks

If any one is going to Records office this week any chance they could do me a lookup please!! Ive found it on the IGI and date is 2 Dec 1832 Hannah Hancock and William Tailby.

Its was a brick wall that i think i've just about cracked and i want to see if the actual record gives any more info

I take it that this event is a marriage ?

Next question...... Is it within the Borough of Leicester ( Have you a Church name ) ?

or in the County ( Again have you a Village / Town ) ?

BUT all was not lost…….

I got the Bishops Transcriptions out of the strong room

Read thus :~

Mary Daughter of John & Elizabeth Hacket. …Baptised. ............ 8th Feb.

William Young. Curate.

NOTE That Hacket spelt with only one T

So Wedding in the morning Baptism in the afternoon ? .....I hope so.

(Caroline Street was crossed out And Thurlastone written above it )

I am looking for children of Joseph Sharpe c1817 and Ann Wilson c1820. I have George Sharpe 1853 Mountsorrel Leicester. Not sure when they got married and if there were any other children.

Any help, much appreciated

Can you tell me where you got George Sharpe with Joseph and Ann . Ive looked on 1861 and 1871 Census but the only George ive found birth Mountsorrel is with a George and Ann
